Mitigating Impact of Major Threat to Sustainable Grape Growing – Herbicide Drift Panel: Part 1

October 24, 2017
10:30  -  11:30

Off target drift from dicamba and 2-4D is perhaps the leading threat to the sustainability of our grape growing industry.  What is frustrating for grape growers is that herbicide drift is preventable. The NWGGA is committed to pursuing a resolution to this problem and has actively been involved with the legislative interim study committees with the NDA and other agriculture entities in our quest for a solution.  Attendees will be familiarized with the Drift Protocol which has been developed over the last year and is now ready for dissemination, as well as the draft legislative bill to be introduced in the next legislative session.
